Customer Pain Points:

• File server on-premises required employee devices to be Entra Hybrid Joined.

• Hybrid Joined devices for WFH employees creates complications in and of itself.

• Need employee devices to be full Entra Joined without consistent authentication and drive mapping problems with on-premises file servers.

  
  

Solutions Used:

• Cloud Kerberos Trust was implemented in the customers Active Directory environment.

• Intune Configuration profiles were pushed out to enable Cloud Kerberos Trust

• Drive mapping script was written to re-map drives after each detected network change (disconnect/reconnect to VPN).
