Customer Pain Points : File server on-premises required employee devices to be Entra Hybrid Joined. Hybrid Joined devices for WFH employees creates complications in and of itself. Need employee devices to be full Entra Joined without consistent authentication and drive mapping problems with on-premises file servers. Solutions Used: Cloud Kerberos Trust was implemented in the customers Active Directory environment. Intune Configuration profiles were pushed out to enable Cloud Kerberos Trust Drive mapping script was written to re-map drives after each detected network change (disconnect/reconnect to VPN).

Customer Pain Points: Turnaround time for a computer deployment is ~3 days. Unauthorized applications found on corporate assets. No enforcement of company-sanctioned computer hardware for corporate use. Transitioned to WFH/Hyrbid after COVID Solutions Used: Intune Autopilot was leveraged to establish an agreement with hardware distributor (Dell) to ship computers directly to from distribution to employee's home (WFH). Company Portal is utilized to provide employees with a library of company sanctioned applications (optional installs). Allowlist of devices, only purchased from company Dell store, are allowed to enroll with company Entra ID MDM.
